Handmade pot by Kataoka Hidemi, third generation of the house known today as Tokoname Shuuhou. Based in Tokoname. The official name of the kiln has been Yoshimura Toen since 1976. In 1923 his grandfather, Yoshimura Kataoka, began to dedicate himself to bonsai pottery with this kiln located in Tokoname. In 1952 it changed its name to Kataoka Toen and is currently known as Shuuhou Tokoname. He is the son of the also renowned ceramist Yoshimura Shuuhou.
