Bonsai pot NAU421 KAMEREON
A faithful reproduction of one of the most representative works of Torii Kiyonaga (1752–1815), a prominent master of ukiyo-e during the Edo period. Renowned for the elegance of his compositions and his refined depictions of women, he also cultivated shunga, creating erotic prints of great artistic quality that contributed to the prestige and development of this genre in Japan during his time. This piece has been entirely hand-modeled and painted by Kamereonpots. It is presented in a mokubako (wooden box) measuring 16 × 15,5 × 9,1 cm and is accompanied by a furoshiki, the traditional Japanese cloth used to wrap and carry valuable objects.

Kamereonpots is the creative partnership of Nuria Rodríguez and Tony Amago. Graduates in Fine Arts from Madrid, they have spent over three decades building a shared career in painting, drawing, and illustration. In recent years, they have focused part of their work on creating artisanal, collectible planters conceived as unique artistic pieces. In this limited series, they present faithful reinterpretations of *shunga*—the renowned genre of erotic prints and paintings from Japan’s Edo period and earlier eras. Beyond its erotic nature, this genre serves as a valuable cultural record, reflecting the customs, humor, social relationships, and various aspects of daily life of the time.
