A curious bonsai pot, unglazed with subtle glaze drips, rectangular in shape with smooth lines, the work of Czech ceramist Pravoslav Dorda. It features several restorations done with metallic paint in imitation of the kintsugi technique, notably on the legs and one on the inner lip.
Pravoslav Dorda is a prominent Czech ceramist, born in 1945, renowned for creating high-quality and remarkably diverse bonsai pots. Thanks to his large kiln, he can produce unique, large-format pieces, often characterized by a rustic style. In recent years, his reputation has grown considerably, and his pots have been used in exhibitions and competitions throughout Europe. He currently resides in Dolní Bečva and was born in Ostrava.
