Tachibana Ritsurin (Zoshirushi) kiln from Tokoname, not to be confused with other Tachibana such as Gyushin. Tachibana is a common surname in Japan. There are historical groups with this surname such as the well-known Tachibana clan which was one of the four most powerful families of kuge (court nobility) in Nara, in the early Heian periods.
