A set of 12 handmade bonsai pots by the renowned Tokoname artist Yukizou Nakano, from the Gyozan kiln. They come in a custom-made, signed wooden "Kiribako" box, and each pot includes its traditional "Taoru kuka-yu" cloth. Box dimensions: 37.8 x 49.7 x 17.4 cm. Only three of this set exist worldwide; they were made over thirty years ago, and this is the only one for sale, as the others are in the hands of Japanese collectors. The set includes nine unglazed and three glazed pots, all signed and handmade. The measurements shown are for the yellow pot.
Handmade bonsaipots by the renowned Tokoname artist, Yukizou Nakano, who passed away in February 2026. He worked at Gyozan bakery, founded in 1972, and was the creator of the famous akebono pastry. He was the husband of Eiko Nakano and the son-in-law of Yuuji Nakano.
