Kan'ami Kiyotsugu (1333 - 8 June 1384) was a Japanese Noh actor, author and musician during the Muromachi period. He formed the Yuzaki theatre company, later renamed Kanze, one of the most important Noh theatre schools. His popularity grew, and he began to make trips to Kyoto for performances. In 1374, the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu was among the audience of one of his plays and was so impressed that he became Kan'ami's patron.
