Japanese tenpai 84 shachihoko

A shachihoko is an animal from Japanese folklore, with the head of a tiger and the body of a carp. In ancient Japan, this animal was believed to have the power to bring rain, and so temples and castles were adorned with ornamental tiles (shibi) in the shape of a shachihoko on their roofs to protect them from fire.
