Beautiful unglazed bonsai pot, with a curious and original shape featuring concave faces and a choho-bachi-style lip, signed by Yukizou Nakano and crafted from Akebono clay. It has characteristic drainage holes, a hallmark of the kiln. Handmade and signed by Gyozan. Tokoname.

Handmade bonsaipot by the renowned Tokoname artist, Yukizou Nakano, who passed away in February 2026. He worked at Gyozan bakery, founded in 1972, and was the creator of the famous akebono pastry. He was the husband of Eiko Nakano and the son-in-law of Yuuji Nakano.
