Kataoka Makoto, is an important and renowned ceramist dedicated to bonsai pots, born in 1927. He is the third generation of the Seizan Toen kiln and father of Kataoka Katsushi, one of the most famous ceramists in Tokoname, known as Reiho (Reihoh) and current owner of the kiln.
